HWS Participates in Hawaiian Tourism Conference
To participate in the Annual Hawaiian Tourism Conference, Mike
and Susan Corona traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii. This conference
is sponsored by both the Hawaiian Tourism Authority and the University
of Hawaii. Participants benefit from professional lectures and
workshops on all aspects of Hawaiian Tourism..
This conference is an essential element of the State's tourism
strategy and plays a vital role in the future growth of Hawaii's
travel industry. The goals of the Hawaiian help to improve the
visitor experience, encourage length of stay, reduce peaks and
valleys of seasonality, ease overcrowding of popular tourism resources
and add value to the existing product mix. In addition, the program
is designed to encourage community partnerships in protecting
Hawaii's unique cultural, social and environmental assets.
The trip to Oahu also gave an special opportunity to visit with
a few of our clients, including our friends at Pat's Kailua Beach
Properties in Kailua, on the Windward side Oahu. We had a wonderful
stay at one of their beach properties. For more information, you
are welcome to contact Pat's Kailua Beach Properties at their
